According to the Cat Duke’s book, in order to send everyone back to Ancient China, they needed to acquire a powerful Runestone; only with its enormous elemental power can the passageway of time and space open. With guidance from a crystal conjured by the Celestial Master, Han Ling-Sha and Yun Tian-He managed to reach the Glacial Iceberg.
Han Ling-Sha: It’s freezing!
Yun Tian-He: Are you okay, Ling-Sha?
Han Ling-Sha: Okay? I am not a barbarian like you. You don’t fear cold, but I do!
Yun Tian-He: Then we have to hurry, and find the Runestone to get back.
Yun Tian-He: Wow, there are lots of yaoguais!
Han Ling-Sha: Why can't this crystal guide us through a path with fewer yaoguais?
Han Ling-Sha: Oh come on! A dragon?!
Yun Tian-He: The crystal is pointing at it. Does that mean it has the Runestone?
Han Ling-Sha: Phew — We’ve finally got the Runestone.
Yun Tian-He: Hmmm... I’m wondering... Would a roasted dragon taste good...
Han Ling-Sha: How can you still think about food at this moment?
Yun Tian-He: Haha, my stomach is growling after the fight.
But Han Ling-Sha could no longer stand the bitter cold. Therefore, she urged Yun Tian-He to forget about eating the dragon, and focus upon leaving the freezing cold place.
Han Ling-Sha and Yun Tian-He left Glacial Iceberg to be on their way back to the Heavenly Kingdom...
Han Ling-Sha: Wait! There are ruins over there. Tian-He, let’s go take a look. Maybe there would be treasures inside.
Yun Tian-He: Not a chance! Your life will drain if you rob anyone's tomb ever again!
Because of their tomb-robbing business, every single generation of Han Ling-Sha’s family had suffered from short lives; it was the punishment for disturbing the dead and ghostland of Ancient China. Few of the Han’s family could pass their twenties. Upon discovering this, Han Ling-Sha had promised Yun Tian-He not to rob tombs anymore; yet, her curiosity was difficult to suppress, and whenever she saw historical buildings, it was hard to resist the temptation to enter.
Han Ling-Sha: Well, it’s not like I am tomb robbing. I am just looking for a little adventure. Let’s go!
Lord of the Fiery Rocks: Who dares invade my clan’s tomb?!
Yun Tian-He: What should we do?! We barged into a tomb and harmed the people within... Wait, they’re not people, but yaoguais.
Yun Tian-He: But it’s a tomb after all! Oh no, what should we do —
Han Ling-Sha: Calm down, Tian-He! They attacked first. We couldn’t just stand there and do nothing, right? Let’s just apologize and we should be fine...
Although Han Ling-Sha and Yun Tian-He had devoted every effort to apologize, the monster did not listen and instead, continued its incessant attacks. The two were forced to escape hastily.
Yun Tian-He: If I had known it would happen, I wouldn’t have let you enter no matter what.
Han Ling-Sha: I already said I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to drag you into this...
Yun Tian-He: I am not blaming you. I am worried about you! I don’t want your life to drain even for the slightest bit!
Han Ling-Sha: Tian-He, there is still time. Why don’t we take a walk before we go back?
Yun Tian-He: Are you again going to —
Han Ling-Sha: No... I already said I am not going to rob tombs ever again. I give you my word!
Han Ling-Sha knew she was destined for a short life. Therefore she wanted to experience as much as she could with Yun Tian-He, and create unforgettable memories with him. That way, she could be in Yun Tian-He’s heart forever.
Han Ling-Sha: Look! How beautiful this view is!
Yun Tian-He: The view here is indeed beautiful, but there are also many yaoguais.
Yun Tian-He: Ling-Sha! Watch out behind you!
Yun Tian-He: Ling-Sha, we should go back as soon as possible. There are too many yaoguais here.
Yun Tian-He: Besides, we also have the Runestone with us. We’d better not wander for too long. Brother and Huai Mi are still waiting for us.
Han Ling-Sha: ... You... I...
Knowing Han Ling-Sha seldom stutter, Yun Tian-He was again worried if she was feeling well. However, although she did not expect him to understand her thoughts, she still got mad somehow...
Han Ling-Sha: Ah, I am fine! You idiot, dumbhead!
Yun Tian-He: Huh? What did I do? Did I do something wrong again?
Huai Mi: Finally, you are back! Did you find the Runestone? Does that mean we can go home now?
Unlike Valorie the Fairy of Poisons, Huai Mi was an elfish yaoguai after all. As such, it was inevitable that Huai Mi would draw the godly Xian’s attention in Heavenly Kingdom, prompting uneasiness from Huai Mi; it missed its siblings and hometown even more.
Han Ling-Sha: Sorry...I didn’t mean to keep you guys waiting. We will check to see how we should use the Runestone from the cat yaoguai’s ancient scroll right now.
Perhaps attracted by the power of the Runestone, Hsuan Hsiao also came to check out the Runestone. However, his eyes became increasingly ferocious; Yun Tian-He could even feel Hsuan Hsiao’s devilish character running amok.^ Yun Tian-He wanted to take back the Runestone, yet Hsuan Hsiao seized it!
Host of Hsihe Sword - Hsuan Hsiao: ‘With this great power, I can...’
Yun Tian-He: Brother! What has happened to you?
Han Ling-Sha: Calm down, Tian-He! Look closely! The power of the Malevolent Sword has possessed Hsuan Hsiao!
Host of Hsihe Sword - Hsuan Hsiao: ‘Tian-He, we can reach sublimation with this power!’
Yun Tian-He: Brother, are you alright? Are you back in control?
Han Ling-Sha: Tian-He, it is better if we bring everyone back to Ancient China.
Han Ling-Sha: The Runestone’s power seems to be affecting Hsuan Hsiao, strengthening the devil inside him.
Hsuan Hsiao: ... It seems like... I have caused you so much trouble...
Han Ling-Sha and Yun Tian-He checked the ancient scroll and identified how exactly the Runestone should be used — everyone had to touch on the Runestone while thinking strongly about returning to their own home. The Runestone’s would then channel the power of Ancient China within all of them to open up the passageway of time and space.
Although their stay was brief, their experiences had created myriad special memories, causing Han Ling-Sha to be reluctant over leaving...
